Pump Types

The below list of fittings illustrates the tool icon along with the <schema name> <item name> used in above key in syntax, and the description of the fitting.

BMP_VibrationPad "default" Vibration Pad — Anti-vibration pads resolve problems with vibrations and machine installation. Vibration pads are used in many applications for isolating noise, prolonging machine life, reducing maintenance costs and reducing excessive wear and tear.
BMP_PumpBaseMounted "Base Mounted" Base Mounted Pump — The horizontal base mounted pumps are centrifugal pumps that are single, end suction type with radially split, top center-line discharge, self-venting casing. Motor rotation can be set to Left or Right handed.
BMP_PumpDiaphragm "PumpDiaphragm" Diaphragm Pump — A diaphragm pump (Membrane pump, Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pump (AODD) or Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump) is a positive displacement pump that uses a combination of the reciprocating action of a rubber, thermoplastic or teflon diaphragm and suitable valves either side of the diaphragm to pump a fluid. The discharge type can be set to horizontal vertical or at side.
BMP_PumpDiesel "Diesel" Diesel Pump — Diesel pumps that run on internal combustion using diesel engine as a prime mover powers the main pump via mechanical energy with vertical turbine.
BMP_PumpDieselHorizontal "Horizontal Diesel" Diesel Pump Horizontal — Houses hydraulic motors in horizontal configuration and diesel engine, rated by their ability to pump a specific volume of water, usually measured in gallons per minute (gpm) at a rated pump pressure and pump speed.
BMP_PumpHorizontalSplitCase "Horizontal Split" Horizontal Split Pump — The double suction impeller design help reduce the axial thrust on its rotating element helps pump to balance the forces on impeller and split case design offer fast maintenance and lower down time.
BMP_PumpJockey "Jockey" Jokey Pump — Jockey Pump is a pressure-maintenance pump applicable to conveying non-corrosive liquid at different temperature and with different flow rate and pressure. These devices consist of a three-part assembly.
BMP_PumpMotorMounted "Motor Mounted" Motor Mounted Pump — Motor mounted version of the horizontal end suction pump, with flanged connections. Radially-split volute with center-line discharge. The motor is adequately rated to accommodate impeller radial loads and residual hydraulic thrusts. The impeller is mounted on an extension of the motor shaft with minimum overhang. Motor rotation can be set to Left or Right handed.
BMP_PumpSump "PumpSump" Sump Pump — Sump pumps are used to remove water accumulated in a sump pits, in the low level ground basin and keeps basement or crawl space dry. Sump pumps send water away from a house to any place where it is no longer problematic, such as a municipal storm drain or a dry well.
BMP_PumpVerticalDualArm "Dual Arm" Dual Arm Pump — A Dual Arm pump is a two pump assembly with one volute. They can run main and standby or in parallel. The volute has a swing discharge port to hydraulically separate the casings to prevent re-circulation when only one pump operates. One pump can also be fully isolated for maintenance while the other is still fully operational.
BMP_PumpVerticalSplitCoupled "Split Coupled" Split Coupled Pump — Split coupled inline pump design enables you to change the seal without disturbing the motor or piping. The axial load is hydraulically balanced to increase bearing life, deliver better pump efficiencies. The axially split, spacer type rigid coupling permits seal maintenance without disturbing the pump or motor connections. Motor rotation can be set to Left or Right handed.
